FBI Conceals Chinese Infiltration of U.S. Election Software

Catherine Engelbrecht and Gregg Phillips have stated that the FBI was involved in a "counter-intelligence operation" with them for over a year regarding the risk posed to US election security by the use of software developed by election company Konnech. They claim that the software, which stored personally identifying information about poll workers in China, posed a national security risk, and that the FBI had been concerned about the company for some time, including issues with banking and overseas operations. Engelbrecht and Phillips stated that they worked closely with a legitimate FBI field office for 15 months, but after being contacted by the FBI's Washington DC headquarters, they became the target of the investigation.
